If you like cookies, you'll love Cookie Crisp

Dunno why I'm thinking about this, but for pretty much my entire life, every year or two I stop to marvel at the fact that 'little chocolate chip cookies in a bowl' is considered acceptable breakfast to some folks. What amazes me is that this crazy breakfast anacronism is still with us! Can't say I've ever tried them, and I'm sure I *WOULD* like them, but really, for breakfast?!?!? You gotta be kidding. Am I the only one that finds this terribly wierd?

Wow, I didn't even know cookie crisp was still around! LOL I always thought the same thing though, especially because stores have always sold those little packets of "bite sized" cookies. I always wondered what, if any, difference there was between cookie crisps and just putting a packet of bite sized cookies in a bowl with some milk.

IMO, this is the greatest god damn cereal ever created! The only draw back is they kinda make the roof of your mouth a little raw after a bowl or two. I'm not sure if this is cause of their texture (most likely) or the amount of sugar...

Either way, I worthy sacrifice if you ask me :D Props on finding that old box, I remember it well.

Okay-- I tried Cookie Crisp once, on my seventh birthday. I'd been indoctrinated into _needing_ it by intensive advertizing on saturday morning cartoons. Anyway, I couldn't make it through a single bowl. It was just too much.
